When i was telling people that i was going to USU the first thing they said to me was "oh get ready for the cold". Well they were wrong, it isn't the cold on campus that will get you its the wind! Last week it was cold I'll admit that (negative 15), but if I'm all bundled up then the 10 minute walk from Mountain View towers isn't all that bad (and lets be serious if you get frostbite in 10 minutes USU probably isn't the best fit for you). Also the Marketplace (where i eat) has banging hot chocolate so if you drink two cups of that your good to go!
But because life really isn't fair USU campus is located right in front of the mouth of Logan Canyon, so there is usually and nice breeze blowing through campus. That nice breeze is what make USU cold sometimes, not the temperature. So next time you tell someone that your going to USU and they say, "oh get ready for the cold", tell them it's not the cold, its the wind!
