When i was telling people that i was going to USU the first thing they said to me was "oh get ready for the cold". Well they were wrong, it isn't the cold on campus that will get you its the wind! Last week it was cold I'll admit that (negative 15), but if I'm all bundled up then the 10 minute walk from Mountain View towers isn't all that bad (and lets be serious if you get frostbite in 10 minutes USU probably isn't the best fit for you). Also the Marketplace (where i eat) has banging hot chocolate so if you drink two cups of that your good to go!
But because life really isn't fair USU campus is located right in front of the mouth of Logan Canyon, so there is usually and nice breeze blowing through campus. That nice breeze is what make USU cold sometimes, not the temperature. So next time you tell someone that your going to USU and they say, "oh get ready for the cold", tell them it's not the cold, its the wind!

New Semester
So here is my post for the new year, finally. I think I've finally got into the swing of the new semester. I have my first test this week so for me the semester is starting to get serious. So far this semester I've turned 19, its been really cold, and i have two labs I really like. I'm taking 15 credits which is great because it's not too much but it still keeps me on my toes. My 19th birthday was the first one i've spent away from my family and it was quite different. But my friends in Snow Hall made me a cake and we partied. I have to get going because im going to my bio lab which is sweet because we get to do stuff!
